Long Point Bay Yacht Club
About Us

For 50 years, Long Point Bay Yacht Club has encouraged fellowship and cruising in our boating
community.

Established in 1975, the Long Point Bay Yacht Club originated in the waters of the Inner Bay. We outgrew the shallow draft of the Booth’s Harbour area and moved our Club to the newly built Port Dover Harbour Marina in the mid-80’s. Our new cruising grounds would prove to serve us well, as the protected waters of the Outer Bay provided boating enthusiasts with plenty of boating opportunities.
As a member of ILYA we offer reciprocals/privileges to other ILYA members both in Canada and the U.S.
Welcome to Port Dover
Port Dover, Ontario is a town of about 6,000 with an economy based on the local fishing fleet and a strong tourism base. It is a picturesque community with a focus on its waterfront. Port Dover is situated on the north coast of Long Point Bay and its deep harbour offers good protection when the prevailing westerly winds begin to kick up. It has terrific beaches, great restaurants and pubs, and plenty of interesting shops to browse through.
