Before COVID, we'd planned to gradually declutter, and eventually live aboard a sailboat in the Caribbean or California for the winter months in retirement. We took some baby steps including a move to Simcoe in 2020 with the goal to be closer to our summertime sailboat, Zambezi.
Our friends and former Long Point Bay Yacht Club board members, Mike and Kate had a more fulsome plan in place, which of course, COVID disrupted. Well, they didn't let that stop them. They're now in their retirement dream place aboard their sailboat, Sea Warrior TNG. It's been quite a journey but they look like they're living their #retirementgoals now!
